Moroccan Date, Orange and Carrot Salad

Ingredients

1 head Bibb Lettuce

2 carrots finely grated

2 oranges, peeled and sectioned (cut over the bowl you intend to serve in to catch the juice)

4 oz fresh dates, pitted and cut into strips lengthwise

1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds

Dressing (combine and pour over salad)

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp water (or orange flavored water)
